Delivering Change through PPM

We provide support through all, or any part, of the change lifecycle:
Translate Strategy Translating your business strategy into objectives, key strategic intentions or key performance indicators as an input to planning a portfolio of work;
Plan Portfolio Identifying, prioritising and planning a portfolio of initiatives to realise your business strategy;
Define Defining and initiating programmes and projects, the outcomes and benefits of which will deliver your strategic objectives;
Implement Managing the implementation of programmes and projects to achieve the desired outputs and outcomes;
Realise Benefits Ensuring that business benefits are clearly defined from the planning stage and that their realisation can subsequently be achieved and tracked once the changes have been adopted within "business as usual";
Run Programme Management Office Putting in place the right governance, planning, management, escalation and reporting mechanisms to enable the right decisions to be made at the right levels;
Close Ensuring controlled handover to ongoing business operations and closure of the programme.
Delivering PPM Diagnostic and Turnaround
We review an existing programme and implement the changes necessary to ensure its success:
Diagnostic Performing a diagnostic of the programme against best practice to highlight areas of strength and those that require intervention;
Interventions Carrying out targeted interventions in each of the areas identified by the diagnostic as requiring attention. These might typically include:
- strengthening governance arrangements and stakeholder engagement;
- clarifying programme objectives, outcomes and benefits;
- ensuring the right management, reporting and control processes are in place;
- providing mentoring and guidance for key individuals, as required, to help them succeed in their role;
Turnaround Following the necessary interventions, providing robust management of the programme to bring it back on track and ensure it is focused on successful delivery.
Delivering PPM Capability
We offer a pragmatic approach to PPM capability development to ensure effectiveness and consistency:
Process Ensuring that appropriate PPM processes are in place to support programme and project delivery;
Documentation Creating a practical set of PRINCE2™ / MSP compliant PPM document templates tailored to your needs that will both facilitate programme and project management delivery and also accelerate the work of your programme and project managers across your organisation;
Tools Identifying and implementing the right tools to support your programme and project management initiatives;
People Skills Providing support to all those involved in your PPM initiatives to help them understand and use PPM processes and tools by ensuring they have the right skills for their role. This might be through individual mentoring, focused workshops or a combination of the two.
